The VTCT Level 1 Award in Themed Face Painting is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in the artistic service of designing and applying themed face painting for special events such as fetes and parties. The unit of study is :

This course is completed over 1 day. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our salon working on real clients mostly children.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

Theme Face Painting L1 Award VTCT
This course is ideal for those wanting to apply face painting at events such as weddings, parties, fetes etc and gain insurance to work safely.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit is required for this course however you will need to buy some face paints and brushes to complete a project at home- your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications .
